E-3 Visa for Australian Nationals
√ Must be a national of Australia.
√ Must have an offer of employment.
√ The job offered must be for a “specialty occupation”, which means the position usually requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
√ The employer must pay the required prevailing wage
√ Prior to applying for the E-3, the employer must submit a Labor Condition Application (LCA) with the Department of Labor.
√ Provide a job offer letter from employer that will be engaged in a specialty occupation and academic credentials/qualifications must be provided.
√ The initial period of stay is up to 2 years with renewal of two year increments.
√ There are no maximum number of extensions.
√ Spouses and unmarried children under the age 21 can join the E-3 worker.
√ Dependents will be granted the same period of stay as the E-3 worker.
√ Spouse has work authorization.
