December 2022 Visa Bulletin Released

The Department of State (DOS) has issued its December 2022 Visa Bulletin. Priority dates for the EB-2 category continue to retrogress for Indian nationals, and are no longer current for nationals of any country. Indian and Chinese nationals in the EB-3 categories experience modest forward movement, while priority dates for most family-based categories remain unchanged.

Remote Verification Option for Form I-9 Documents Extended

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (β€œICE”) has once again extended the ability of employers to remotely verify the identity and employment authorization documents of new hires who will work off-site due to COVID-19 related precautions. The option to remotely verify documents for Form I-9 purposes has been extended through July 31, 2023.
