USCIS Extends Suspension of all Face-to-Face Services Until June 3, 2020

USCIS has extended its temporary suspension of all face-to-face services at USCIS field offices, asylum offices, and Application Support Centers (ASCs) to June 3, 2020, with a planned reopening on or after June 4.

USCIS confirmed that its employees are continuing to perform services that do not require face-to-face contact with the public while the offices are closed, meaning that USCIS will continue to process all filed applications and petitions during the temporary suspension period. USCIS also will continue to provide emergency services during this time. If you have an emergency service request, please contact us so we may assist you in obtaining your emergency service.

Finally, USCIS once again confirmed that all interviews will be rescheduled when USCIS resumes normal operations. USCIS also stated that it will automatically reschedule biometrics appointments at Application Support Centers, and that affected individuals will receive new appointment letters in the mail. However, individuals with InfoPass or other appointments at a USCIS field office must reschedule their appointments through the USCIS Contact Center once USCIS offices reopen to the public.
